The Moontail is a mystic breed of cat. They originate from the Luna Borough.
A Luna Stone can be used on any mystic breed to create a Moontail. When a Luna Stone is used on a Moontail, they will transform into a Longhair.
As the Luna Stone is a Kickstarter exclusive item, first generation Moontails are exclusive to it.
Physical Appearance[edit]
The Moontail breed greatly resembles their domestic counterpart, Longhairs, but sport various insect-like features, such as fuzzy antennae, wings, and a glowing bulb at the end of their tail. They also have long, tendril-like whiskers, which glow at their tips.
Mars Moontails have four antennae, while venus and kits have two.
There are three wing variants: Ribbon, Silk, and Lace. Ribbon wings resemble moth wings with tails, such as Luna moths. Silk wings resemble Silk moth wings. Lace wings resemble Neuroptera wings.
Wing type is random upon breed changing, but can be changed through the usage of a TBA item. Wing inheritance is determined by parentage (e.g. a Ribbon and Lace pair will only produce Ribbon and Lace kits).
