The Valentine Gene is an overcoat gene.
The design of this gene (...)
Cats with this gene have a large heart-shaped marking on their forehead, smaller heart-shaped eyebrows, and a cascade of more heart-like stripes down their backs and tails. Their paws are also darker, with similar heart-like stripes leading up the lengths of their legs.
With the Valentine gene, a cat's undercoat is visible on their face, neck, chest, the top halves of their legs, and the underside of their tail.
