The Tiger Gene is an overcoat gene.
The design of this gene is stated to be based off of the "average mackerel tabby,"[1] which is one of four real-life tabby patterns.
Cats with this gene have a lighter base, and darker stripes all across their bodies. They have small spots on their muzzles, and dark markings on the parts of their toes where their claws would sit.
With the Cardinal gene, a cat's undercoat is visible on a section of their underbelly, and on their chin.
