Gifting
Here's what's left to do:
- List of all foods and their flavors.
- List of all items and their natures.
- Missing hex-code for enemy relationships.
- Data for relationship levels and how they affect nest sizes.
Gifting is a feature that establishes a relationship between two cats, a necessity for breeding. The item gifted has influence over the type of relationship established, and how quick progress is. Outside of breeding gifting is necessary for maintaining a daily streak, or completing hourly tasks.
Sending Gifts
To send a gift head over to a cats profile and find 'Give Gift' at the top of the screen, for mobile users this option will be hidden in a drop-down menu. Afterwards players can select the gift giver, and the item to be gifted. Any gift sent to the recipient will be consumed and is not returnable.

Gifts can be positive, negative, or neutral. The value is denoted by a plus (+) for positive, minus (-) for negative, or none for a neutral gift. Positive and negative gifts will greatly increase and decrease the relationship respectively. Neutral gifts will slightly progress the relationship. The giver of the gift has no effect on the relationship progress, only whether the recipient appreciates the gift.
Cats like their gift if it's their favorite flavor, or the nature matches their own. Cats dislike their gift if it's their disliked flavor, or an opposing nature. Cats are neutral towards their gift if the previous conditions aren't met, or the item has two flavors or natures that have values that cancel each other out. See the sections Natures and Flavors for further information on the respective topic.
The flavor or nature of an item can be checked by selecting the red question mark (?) underneath its name. A small card with summarized information on the item, including its flavor or nature, will appear.

Players can send and receive gifts from cats they don't own. Though this has the added limitation of waiting for the gift recipient to accept the gift request. Gift requests may be accessed in a players Dashboard under social notifications.
Limitations
- Cats that are related to each other within 5 generations can't send each other gifts, as gifting is primarily a breeding feature currently.
- Only one gift can be given to a unique pair of cats each rollover, otherwise a blue gift box icon appears near the gift recipient.

- Only Rarity 0 and Rarity 1 items can be accepted as gifts.
- A cat can't send themselves a gift.
Relationships
Relationship levels range from 0 (minimum) to 5 (maximum). A relationship is completed in 12 positive or negative gifts, for 2 gifts per level. To reach a relationship level 5 it is 10 gifts, the additional 2 gifts are to fill the progress bar. Gifting neutral gifts take twice as long to progress. The higher a relationship level is, the less likely the pair is to produce a single kitten litter. At level 4 a pair will unlock the possibility to product litters with 4 kits.
The relationship between two cats is indicated by symbols and unique colors near the cats icons. Positive relationships are denoted by a cat face icon. Negative relationships are denoted by two crossed swords as their icon. Friend relationships are blue (#2AB2EC), and Mate relationships are pink (#FF78A0) Rival relationships are purple (#625268), and enemy relationships are tba (#tba). Neutral relationships are grey (#B6B6B6), they have no symbol.

Loveletters and
Hatemail unlocks exclusive relationship titles when gifted to a cat; Mates and enemies respectively. Two cats must already be at relationship rank 1 in the respective direction for them to take effect. After use the relationship level for the pair is set to 1.
All the relationships a cat has established can be seen when viewing their profiles. Family relationships are shown by default. Other relationships are viewed by selecting them from the drop-down menu. List of relationship types:
- Family: The direct relatives of the cat; parents, siblings, littermates or children.
- Associates: All the relationships a cat has established.
- Friends: All the positive relationships a cat has established.
- Mates: All the mate relationships a cat has established from a
Loveletter. - Rivals: All the negative relationships a cat has established.
- Enemies: All the enemies relationships a cat has established from
Hatemail.
The type of relationship has no effect on two cats being able to breed together. Instead, as long as the cats have at least 1 rank of positive or negative relationship and are not related to one another within 5 generations, they will be able to breed.
Gift Traits
There are two traits that affect whether a gift recipient will like or dislike the gift: flavor and nature. Flavor applies only to
Food items, while nature applies to every other item type. Items may have one or more flavor/nature at once. Details on how favored or opposing flavors/natures affect a relationship are detailed in the above section [[#Sending Gifts|Sending Gifts].
Flavors
Food flavors currently do not affect anything outside of gifting.
List of flavors:
Bitter
Salty
Savory
Sour
Spiced
Sweet
Natures
Every nature has an opposing counterpart. Gifting a cat with their opposing nature results in a negative decrease in the relationship. While sending a gift with the same nature positively increases the relationship. Other natures result in a neutral reaction, and the relationship positively increases slightly.
