Cats with this gene have a large heart-shaped marking on their forehead, heart-shaped
a cascade of more stripe-like hearts down their backs and tails.
the appearance of butterfly wings draped over their backs, and have butterfly-shaped masks on their faces. Beneath the butterfly wings and mask, the gene features a dark stripe along the spine and tail of the cat, dark shoulders, then a lighter underbelly and legs.
With the Valentine gene, a cat's undercoat is visible on their face, neck, chest, and the top halves of their legs.
