Breeding

Cats need to have a relationship level of at least 1 or -1 in order to breed, and must be of the opposite sex (Mars + Venus). Relationships are established through gifting. The sex of a cat may differ from its pose, and can be checked when viewing it's profile. Cats with the sex Mars will display the ♂ symbol, and Venus cats will display ♀. Additionally, cats must be either unrelated or at least 5 generations apart in order to breed.

After a relationship has been established the cats will be an available option at the Nursery. By default the borough the pair nests in will be the borough you currently have selected which is marked as "Home" in the menu. A different borough may be selected for a fee of 350  with an additional "random" option available for 250  instead. Choosing this option will make each kit in the litter have a different borough of origin. The selected borough only influences eye color.

A pair of cats may have a litter of 1 - 4 kits. Nesting Shufflestones may be used to shuffle the outcome of a litter within the available gene pool of the parents.

Once nested, cats have a 14 day cooldown before they can breed again.

Daily Quest

When breeding a pair, they will ask for certain 0 star supply items that you have to fulfill beginning with day 2 of the cats breeding. However many items are asked for is how many kits will be in the litter. These refresh after rollover if completed. If not completed before the next rollover, the quest will stay the same and another day will be added to the cats' breeding. If quests are completed every day, breeding takes 5 rollovers.
