The '''Tiger''' [[Genes|Gene]] is an overcoat gene. 

The design of this gene is stated to be based off of the "average mackerel tabby,"<sup>[https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tbpt/paw-borough-the-feline-virtual-browser-rpg/posts/3805969 source]</sup> which is a variation of the common [[wikipedia:Tabby cat|tabby pattern]].

Cats with this gene have a lighter base, and darker stripes all across their body. They have small spots on their muzzles, and dark markings on the parts of their toes where their claws would sit.

==Trivia==
* Tiger was one of seven overcoat genes included in the initial demo release.
* Tiger went through three renditions before being finalized. The second version was released in the May 2023 [[Kickstarter]] update, and the third version was released the next month, in the June update.
