			The {{PAGENAME}} is a creature with a body composition vaguely reminiscent of a {{wp\|gecko}}, though it is fluffy and sports two large ears on its head. This creature has large white eyes, a long curling tongue, and two red {{wp\|butterfly}} wings. It is primarily colored in a warm green, black, and white. With an accenting vivid red.

	~~TBA~~		Toshi, colloquially called lantern drakes, were first spotted in northern [[Kotemara]]. Ancient catfolk stories describe them as omens of the [[Wastes]]. When spotted on the borders of catfolk settlements, cats would assume a [[wastebeast]] attack was on the horizon.

			Toshi appear no larger than a cat’s paw. They glow faintly as they flitter about. Early field sketches display little variety in their appearance over several centuries, implying no evidence of any evolution, which continues to baffle researchers.

			Toshi are only spotted in the isolated depths of northern pine and deciduous forests, frequently avoiding contact with catfolk settlements. Unlike the majority of the recorded wildlife in the region, there are no documented Toshi eggs, juveniles, or breeding pairs.

			Compiling all this together, evidence suggests that Toshi simply do not age or breed. It’s thought that the Toshi population is a finite and assumedly immortal one, remaining unchanged since the [[Starfall Impact]]. Though it’s an assumption so farfetched and difficult to believe that many researchers deny the possibility, and simply insist that we need more data.
