Some settlements have attempted further domestication, but Raptaroos prove too erratic and mischievous for domestic duties.

			Hunters trade their fur and feathers, and the Raptaroos goofy antics are often the subject of frequent local jokes and stories. Archaeological findings suggest that ancient families entertained prehistoric Raptaroos, especially by allowing them to interact with kittens, which is supported by their overwhelmingly friendly demeanor towards [[catfolk]].
