The Sol breeds are the domestic [[Snowfoot]] and the mystic [[Prancer]]. Any cats born under this Borough have brown or gold eyes.

The Sol territory is north of the [[Luna]] territory, and likely the most northern territory in [[Mewmoia]]. The territory lays in the flat tundra. The ice and crystals in Sol territory reflect the sun, acting to light up the whole Borough as well as provide the Sol catfolk with a source of magic.

===Culture===
Sol catfolk are hardier than those of the other Boroughs. Sol cats are traditionally cast to the furthermost edges of the Sol Borough once they reach adulthood. They will then either survive in the wilderness, travel towards the center of the territory, or leave the Borough. The hardiest of the cats will stick towards the edge of the territory, as the center holds an aristocratic town.

The attitude of Sol catfolk is varied. Those towards the edges will enjoy travel and conversation with other Boroughs more readily than those towards the center, who tend to be more reserved and snobbish. The unifying trait of Sol is the pursuit of knowledge and the honoring of the sun. Despite their reverence for the sun, the aristocracy are not spiritual and dislike any implication that they are dependent on a higher deity. They take great pride in their work as magicians and mathematicians and value conformity.

The border folk and those living outside of aristocracy tend to be very tight-knit. However, many cats cast to the edges will either choose to leave or become a serf. The cats who remain try to help others, especially those young cats freshly banished. They view the aristocracy negatively, viewing those who aim for it as one who loses their soul to corruption.

Regardless of one's affiliation, the cats of Sol are viewed as the best source of logic and fact. They are often compared to Luna, and regarded as more sophisticated. Despite their nobility, the leaders of Sol may humble themselves to work with other Boroughs for the greater good.

Crystalline armor made of magic is commonplace. Aristocratic catfolk will wear uniform, time-intensive, pristine armor, while common catfolk will have more unique armor.

The Metropolis territory is the entirety of an island, located closest to [[Cogwheel]] and accessible by ferry. The territory has more urban centers with towering skyscrapers as well as suburban neighborhoods. The skyline is often filled with buildings, which can be seen from the mainland. The coastline of the island falters from this uniformity with steel and brick.

===Culture===
The Metropolis is ran by The Metropolis Administration, who perceive Cogwheel as lesser, insisting that they are not as industrialized as themselves.

The common workers (blue-collar-golden-bell workers) of The Metropolis share a sense of camaraderie with Cogwheel, believing that workers are what uphold a city. Those that hold higher prestige (white-collar-silver-bell workers) may have skewed priorities. The Metropolis can be a rough and unforgiving place, and these white-collar workers can stow themselves away in warm penthouses instead.

The Metropolis serves as a hub for commerce, and many jobs will send high-class Metropolis cats to other Boroughs to engage in various business activities.

The Metropolis is the third most powerful Borough and only takes orders from [[Sol]] and [[Luna]]. The Metropolis Agency thinks lesser of [[Cogwheel]], and Cogwheel thinks lesser of The Metropolis. The [[Zenith]] catfolk can be difficult to conduct business with, as their answers are rarely straightforward despite their potential for the growth of business.

The catfolk of Luna value research and study. They have cataloged, among other things, the history of catkind. The Borough is known for its large libraries, although it is also known for being isolationist. Despite this, Luna has a large influence on the worldwide culture. Luna cats are known for being secretive and tricky. Some believe them to be cold-hearted or emotionless. Luna cats rarely pass up an opportunity to laugh, but this includes at the expensive of others.

The Luna Borough worships the stars and moon, with the latter being the mother of life. The moon is worshiped through dances, ceremonies, tapestries, and silk and silver dress. Holidays are somber and commemorate the souls of the deceased.
